Volunteer Information

The Sumner Downtown Association, as a non-profit organization, would not be effective without our volunteers.  We are always looking for volunteers who want to help make Sumner a better place to live, work and play.  As a volunteer you can help with the many events that occur within the City throughout the year.  Events such as the Daffodil Parade, Wine Walks, Classy Chassis Car Show, to name a few, are fun to work on and allow you to meet and work with wonderful people. 

In addition to our promotional events, we always have a need for volunteers in the office. A lot of the office time can be spent sitting down, stuffing envelopes (yes, we still do mailings), copying and printing, using our not so sharp cutting board, and if you have computer skills we would be happy to have you spend some time with us. The office is nice and if you have any design ability we are starting to make some changes. You'll meet new people as they pop in to give advice, suggestions or just talk.
